Date Rape is forced sexual assault or rape by a known romantic interest or date involving sex you don’t agree to.

Date Rape

The rapist is usually your “date,” whether you are on a first date, or even if you have been dating for a while. Date rape often involves the use of alcohol or date rape drugs or “roofies” which can be slipped into a beverage and cause you to be unable to resist, unable to say no, or cause you to black out.

If you have been raped, and you need medical attention or choose to have a medical exam, please learn how to find help in Minnesota after rape or sexual violence.
