    We are here to help by providing support and connecting victims of general crime to resources in the community.

    When you’ve been a victim of a crime – a violent crime, personal crime, or property crime – you’ve experienced trauma. You might feel afraid, scared, confused, or worried you might lose everything. Cornerstone’s General Crime Advocates are here to help. There is no requirement to contact law enforcement or police at any time in order to receive services from Cornerstone. 

    We are a safe place for you to get help after a crime has occurred. Our advocates are connected to resources in the community and are knowledgeable about options for Minnesota victims of crime. If we cannot help, our advocates will connect you with other resources.

    For 24/7 Support, call Minnesota Crime Victim Support Line 1-866-385-2699 to speak with an advocate (interpreters are available), text 612-399-9977, or click the CHAT NOW button on this site to connect with a Day One advocate. A Day One advocate is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you.

    For support, information, and referrals, contact the Metro Line at 612-767-9844. General Crime Advocates are available Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

    What does it mean to be trauma-informed?

    Our advocates understand the impact of trauma on adults and youth. Our staff, services and buildings prioritize physical, psychological and emotional safety and are space for victims/survivors to have a sense of control and feel empowered to make their own choices.
